Description
iPad 7, iPad 8, iPad 9 Macintosh stand.
Designed to hold the iPad without a protective case by default.
Because the center of gravity is forward, I designed a counterweight. The default counterweight is a metal plate 2mm thick and 100mm x 100mm in size.
Users in China can purchase it on Taobao or Alibaba.
Other regions can consider Amazon or other channels.
You need to set the slicer software to pause at a certain printing position, then embed the counterweight metal plate, and resume printing to seal it inside.
Therefore, supports need to be added manually. The space reserved for the counterweight metal plate inside does not require supports.
If you cannot obtain this counterweight plate, or find the cost too high, you can ignore the internal holes and simply add a heavy object as a counterweight after printing is complete.
The two parts need to be glued together, and two alignment pins are designed for easy alignment.
If using the same filament for supports, it is recommended to set the top contact Z distance to 0mm. This is very important for easy support removal, especially for PETG.
