Description

Modular Custom-Size Net System

Create a professional-grade, custom-sized net for any space—storage, gardens, cargo areas, or barriers. This modular 5-part system allows you to weave a net to your exact dimensions using durable bungee and paracord.

Features:

  • Fully Customizable & Adjustable: Build any height or width.
  • Easy Printing: All parts print in two halves with no supports required.
  • Durable Design: Uses mechanical anchors and sliders for a secure fit.
  • Material: Optimized for PLA, but works great in PETG or ASA for outdoor use.

What You’ll Need

Hardware:

  • Bungee Cord: 1/4" (for the top and bottom tension lines)
  • Paracord: 7-strand core (for the vertical and horizontal mesh)
  • Screws: #6 wood screws (for mounting anchors)

Tools:

  • Basics: Drill/Screwdriver, Hammer, Pliers, Level, Pencil.
  • Finishing: Scissors, Lighter (to singe cord ends).
  • Specialty: Paracord knotter tool.

Assembly Instructions

1. Set the Foundation (Anchors)

Mount the Anchor halves at the four corners of your intended space using a level and your #6 wood screws. These will hold the tension for your entire net.

2. Run the Bungee Rails

Stretch your 1/4" bungee cord between the top two anchors and the bottom two anchors. Snap the anchor halves together to lock the bungee in place. These horizontal runs act as the "tracks" for your net.

3. Attach Top Sliders

Snap the Top Sliders onto the top bungee run. Secure your vertical paracord lines to these sliders.

4. Weave the Mesh

  • Side Borders: Use the Border Snaps along the left and right vertical edges to maintain a clean perimeter.
  • The Grid: Use the Standard Snaps at every intersection point where your horizontal and vertical paracord lines meet.
  • Tip: Use your hammer and pliers to ensure the halves are fully seated and locked.

5. Finish the Bottom

Once the weaving is complete, snap the Bottom Sliders onto the lower bungee run and attach your vertical paracord ends. Use your lighter to melt and seal all paracord ends to prevent fraying.
