Description

šŸ› ļø Support the Process!

šŸ’” What you see is what you get: Unlike many profiles that only upload digital renders of unprintable models, every single design here is fully test-printed, refined in Blender/Meshmixer, and optimized for FDM before release.

I spend hours tweaking geometries, custom supports, and wasting my own filament so that you can enjoy a flawless, hassle-free print on your first try.

If my test-printing hours saved your time and filament, feel free to keep my printers running and fuel the next project! Any support is greatly appreciated: paypal.me/mjrko84

šŸŽÆ Reno Ichikawa - Defense Force Suit - Tactical Sniping Pose

"I'll become a man who can stand by your side!"

Complete your Kaiju No. 8 collection with Reno Ichikawa, the dedicated member of the Third Division. This high-detail statue captures Reno in a focused, low-slung crouching pose while aiming his specialized Defense Force rifle. At 97mm tall (including the rocky base), he is perfectly scaled to match the 180mm standing Kikoru Shinomiya for a proportional battle scene.

āš™ļø Technical Print Data (Tested & Certified)

This model has been field-tested for consistency and surface quality:

  • Layer Height: 0.12mm (Optimized for balancing print time and tactical suit detail).
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm.
  • Infill: 15% (Gyroid recommended).
  • Supports: Tree supports are mandatory.

šŸ“ Dimensions & Scale

  • Total Height: 97mm (Crouching pose on a rocky base).
  • Proportions: Scaled to be consistent with the 180mm standing Kikoru model.

āš ļø ATTENTION: Post-Processing & Handling (CRITICAL)

Removing supports from this model is a test of patience. Please follow these guidelines:

  • āš ļø The Rifle Strap (FRAGILE): The strap/cord of the rifle is extremely thin and delicate. Use fine flush cutters to snip the support tips before attempting to pull the structure away. If it snaps, a tiny drop of CA glue will fix it.
  • āš ļø Support Intersections (CHIN & CHEST): The tree supports often intersect in the narrow space between the rifle stock, the arms, and the chin. Do not apply leverage. Use a metal pick tool to slowly loosen the branches from the inside out to avoid scratching the chest armor or snapping the head.
  • āš ļø Rifle Scope/Sight: The scope on top of the rifle is prone to detaching during cleaning. Be very gentle when removing supports from the top of the weapon.
  • āš ļø Pro Tip: Work slowly. This model requires a "surgical" approach to support removal due to the overlapping geometry of the sniping stance.

Technical & Creative Note: This design is based on an AI generation that I have manually refined and tested on FDM prints to ensure printability and quality. The featured photo is of the actual physical print. I’ve included AI-colored renders only as a visual reference for those who wish to paint the miniature.
