Bill of Materials
Description
Support your favorite team with a pair of lightweight and customizable football earrings.
This model is optimized for multi-color 3D printing (you will need an AMS) and allows you to easily create color variants for any national team or club.
Bill of Materials
You will need:

A very small amount of glue can be useful to ensure the eye pins stay firmly in place.
Instructions
Each earring has a small hole at the top. Simply insert an eye pin through the hole, then attach the hook to the eye pin.
If needed, you can apply a tiny drop of glue to the eye pin before inserting it to secure it more effectively.

Overhangs & Printability
This model is made for FDM 3D printing, avoiding any excessive overhangs.
- The side walls are rounded, with a custom profile starting at 45° to prevent firsts layers deformation.
- Pins holes are diamond-shaped (easier to print and improve eye pins fit with glue).

Printing recommandations
- Use a 0.2 mm or 0.4 mm nozzle with the Arachne wall generator enabled in your slicer for the best results.
- Print on a smooth build plate (smooth PEI or similar).
- If you experience adhesion issues, make sure your build plate is thoroughly cleaned.
Coloring recommandations
The model is divided into multiple components/objects, allowing you to easily assign different colors to each part of the earrings:
- Top and bottom lines
- Top and bottom pentagons
- Top and bottom hexagons
- Middle part with the pin hole

It is recommanded to set different colors by changing the filament for the whole components/objects in your slicer.
It helps to achieve a better color separation and a more sharp result.

Using the Color Painting tool may cause color bleeding between layers.
You might want this effect on purpose (creating a gradient effect/optical illusion), in this case you may want to use smaller layer heights (0.1 mm or less) and carefully selected filaments (with high transmission distance).
