Description
A 2U rack mount for the ICY BOX IB-RD3720-CU3 dual bay RAID enclosure. Designed for a standard 10-inch network rack.
The enclosure slides in from the front and is held in place by a rear retaining lip, so it cannot slide out from the back. Side reinforcement struts improve structural rigidity along the depth. A top cable channel allows routing of the front connector cables to the back.
I printed this in PLA on a Bambu Lab P2S with 4 wall lines and 20% infill. Currently running 2× 2.5" SSDs, holds up great. I never tested heavier 3,5" HDDs, but I dont see a problem here.
A litte bit of supports are needed for the two small cutouts on the left and right side of the front plate (LED window and screw access).
