Curbstone Alignment Bracket for Concrete Formwork
Print Profile(1)

Description
The Problem: When pouring a strip foundation (Streifenfundament) right next to existing edging stones (curbstones), it is difficult to keep the wooden formwork perfectly straight and at the correct height/distance.
The Solution: This bracket clips onto the existing curbstones and holds the formwork board in a precise position. It ensures that your new foundation will be perfectly rectangular and aligned with your garden stones. No more wobbly boards or guessing the distance!
How to use:
- Clean the edge of your existing curbstones.
- Snap the brackets onto the stones at regular intervals.
- Slide your formwork boards into the designated slot of the bracket.
- Your formwork is now locked in place and ready for the concrete pour.
Key Benefits:
- Perfect Alignment: Uses the existing stone as a guide.
- Saves Time: No need to drive wooden stakes for every meter.
- Easy Removal: Once the concrete is set, just slide the brackets off.
Versatile Mounting Options: I have designed this bracket with two mounting positions for the formwork board:
- Top Mount: Attach the board on top of the bracket for higher foundations.
- Bottom Mount: Attach the board underneath the bracket, ideal for deeper foundations or when the board needs to be closer to the ground.
Lower Mounting Option: The lower mounting point provides an offset of approx. 9.5 mm below the top edge of the curbstone.
Compatibility & Dimensions:
- Max. Stone Width: 77.50 mm (Designed for a snug fit on specific curbstones).
- Bracket Height: 55 mm.
- Total height: 75 mm
