MFT Camera Body Cap (Transport Cover for Micro Four Thirds Cameras)
This 3D-printed Micro Four Thirds (MFT) camera body cap is designed to protect your camera sensor when transporting your camera without a lens attached. It allows you to separate the camera body and lens during travel to save space in your bag while keeping the sensor safely covered.
Many photographers remove the lens for transport to make their setup more compact, but leaving the camera mount open exposes the sensor to dust and potential damage. This cap solves that problem by securely covering the mount.

Printing
- Works well with PLA, PETG, or ABS
- No supports required
- Standard layer heights (e.g., 0.2 mm) work great
- Infill: ~15–20% is sufficient
- Can be printed with or without AMS. Without AMS, the logo or details can easily be colored with a pen after printing.
Usage
Attach the cap to your MFT camera body just like a normal lens. It locks into the mount and protects the sensor while your lens can be stored separately.
To remove it, simply press the lens release button on your camera and rotate the cap, just like removing a lens.
Compatibility
Compatible with all cameras using the Micro Four Thirds mount, including models from Olympus / OM System and Panasonic.
