Design Highlights
Printed as a single part, the trophy combines three visual elements in one seamless print: a spherical globe with raised continent outlines covering all regions of the world, a geometric lattice column with interlocking diamond and arch patterns, and a cylindrical base with decorative gold accent rings. The two-tone color scheme — gold body against a black base — is achieved via a filament color change pause during printing.
Print Settings
- Print type: Single part, no assembly required
- Material: PLA Silk recommended — gold or bronze tones give the best visual result
- Supports: Required (for the globe overhang)
- Color change: AMS recommended to switch from black to gold filament for the two-tone effect
- Walls: Minimum 3 wall loops recommended for lattice strength
- Infill: 10 % Gyroid or higher
Notes
Support removal requires care around the lattice struts and the underside of the globe. Silk PLA produces a naturally metallic sheen that elevates the trophy look without any post-processing.
