Description

Dual SSD cage I designed for my HPE dl380 gen9 to mount two internal boot drives. It's mounted on top of the power supplies of the server. Zwo screws are needed, I just used random ones that fitted (don't use too long screws).

The cage is designed in a way that air can flow between the SSDs for cooling, so overheating won't be a problem.

For cabling, I used a SlimLine SATA to regular SATA adapter. This way, you can use the optical drive connector on the mainboard for power and data, and the single SATA data for the second SSDs data cable.
