A model designed for emergencies where we don't have access to a bathroom, where destiny betrays us and our dignity is at stake, the urinal comes to the rescue. It continues the legacy of its previous version, which is to use standard PET bottles as temporary containers.

Features:

• Design.- The new version is more compact, resistant, and airtight than the previous version. It is also more portable and lightweight, fitting in small pockets of a suitcase or in the car compartment.
• Unisex.- The model was designed for the male gender, due to its small and compact size it is incompatible with the female gender.
• PET bottle compatibility.- It is designed to be compatible with the standard thread of all commercial PET bottles.
• Resistance.- The model has thick and resistant walls, as well as a shape that prevents breakages or leaks through the walls. It is recommended to use materials resistant to liquid, corrosion, and high temperatures; PETG is a good option.
• Size.- The model has an external diameter of 60mm and an approximate height of 110mm. The model consists of:
  • Outer Funnel.- Although it may seem small, it is large enough to fulfill its purpose without complications or splashing. NOTE: its interior cavity is empty to be as hygienic as possible in its use, reuse, and cleaning, thus preventing residue accumulation.
  • Inner Funnel.- Inside the thread that connects to the PET bottle, there is a small funnel that channels the liquid, preventing contact with the bottle's thread.
  • Cap.- it allows closing it to prevent odors from escaping as well as its reuse. The cap does not make it completely watertight; avoid tipping the bottle or dropping it.
• Watertightness.- It is partially watertight because it does not have seals that hermetically close the model, yet it is designed to keep the liquid inside without spills or odor leaks.
• Sanitation.- The model is designed for emergency situations where its use is the last option. It is recommended:
  • Once printed, paint it with lacquer or epoxy resin to seal the layer junctions, thus preventing leaks and bacterial proliferation.
  • When used, pour water inside to wash it. This way we can reuse the bottle without removing the model.
  • After use, wash it completely with soap and water, thus preventing any bacterial proliferation and bad odors.
  • For storage, let it dry completely and spray a little alcohol to disinfect.
  • Waste disposal.- the bottle itself and its contents are considered Biological waste, therefore it must be disposed of in appropriate places and not in common trash containers. It is advisable to pour the liquid into a toilet and wash the bottle before discarding it.
