Snake Dice Tower

The dice channel is only present in Bambu Studio; it is not present in other slicer programs

Do not print this model smaller, as the dice channel will become too small and the dice will no longer pass through

With this dice tower, only one die can be used at a time, as there is only room for one

Caution The teeth are very sharp and can injure you; if needed, you can sand them down a bit so they are not as sharp

Printed with PLA Gray Matte

Dimensions X= 150mm Y= 160mm Z= 195mm

Difficulty Easy

Supports It should not be a problem to remove these, but be a bit more careful with the two large upper teeth and do not remove the supports sideways; instead, pull them straight down Be careful not to injure yourself on the lower teeth when pulling off the support

Have fun printing

when printing 2 of the supports broke away and deformed the bottom jaw. Any advice? Im using the Bambu A1

This is of course very annoying, I also printed it on the A1 and had no problems with the settings, it could be that the support got hit and then unfortunately broke. It could also have been due to the print bed, as I often had this with this print bed and no longer use it. It would be good to know if others have already had this problem, it could also be that something is not good with the support and it would need to be revised

For anyone struggling with the bottom jaw: I had the same issue on 4/5 prints I tried of this. The way I got it to work was by going into Bambu Studio and unchecking 'Only support critical areas'. This gives more support to the under jaw and makes the main branch support stronger/thicker. I also printed an angle tester to adjust the angle my printer can print at. To do this, just print a tester and check where the earliest signs of stringing begin. Take that degree and subtract it from 90. That's the angle you need to be at. I'll attach a picture of the better supports to this and post the painted version later :) Overall love the dice tower itself, it's incredibly well made and absolutely perfect for my interests. To make sure dice don't tumble out, consider sizing up the tray or heightening the walls.

could you do a print of just the snake coiled up with his head up like that? I need a snake statue for my daughters Harry Potter birthday party and all I can find is articulated snakes!! if you had the time to do it I would be super grateful, print and boost!!!

hello- thank you for your reply!! I wanted something that could be the centerpiece- like it was guarding the cake maybe. so maybe 7 -9 inches in height maybe a little I included 2 photo ideas- I know the tongue would present an extra need for supports and would be fragile- so it wouldn’t have to have the tongue- or maybe it could be printed separately? the model could be single color… I appreciate your willingness to see what you can do! I’m very much just a maker- not a talented creator!
