This is a replacement hook for an outdoor solar lamp model Solar Outdoor LED Courtyard Wall Lamp (model 616).

After a few days of use, the original hook broke (rather fragile plastic), but the lamp itself still works well. Even though it's a cheap product, it seemed like a waste to throw it away just for this defect… so I decided to redesign the part and share it.

The model was recreated from scratch to be more robust than the original, while maintaining compatibility with the lamp housing.

Ideal if:

  • You have the same lamp with a broken hook
  • You want to reinforce a weak point of the product
  • You like to repair instead of throwing away 😉

Printing tips

  • Recommended material: PETG or ABS (PLA is okay but less durable outdoors over time)
  • Infill: at least 30–40%
  • Orientation: flat side on the build plate
  • Tip: add 3–4 perimeters for greater strength

Notes
The lamp uses an 18650 type battery (in my case I had to replace it after a short time), but once fixed it works well, especially as a courtyard/garage light with a motion sensor.

If you use it and it works for you, let me know 👍
