The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor P415 is the truck that redefined what a factory off-roader could be, born from Ford’s Special Vehicle Team (SVT) and introduced in 2010 as a purpose-built high-performance desert runner straight off the production line. Based on the twelfth-generation F-150 platform, the Raptor wasn’t just a trim—it was a ground-up transformation with widened bodywork, heavy-duty suspension, and aggressive styling that made it instantly recognizable. Early models came with a 5.4-liter V8, but the real star was the later and more iconic 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, pumping out 411 horsepower and 588 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering serious grunt and a muscular soundtrack that matched its looks.

The Raptor P415 was engineered for high-speed off-road driving, featuring long-travel Fox Racing shocks, reinforced control arms, unique leaf springs in the rear, and a track width that was over 7 inches wider than the standard F-150. This gave it unmatched capability on rough terrain while still offering comfort and control on the road. It had special off-road modes, a locking rear differential, and an advanced traction control system tuned for dirt, mud, sand, and rock. The exterior was aggressive and functional, with flared fenders, BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, skid plates, and the bold FOR D grille that became a Raptor signature.

It was offered in SuperCab and SuperCrew configurations, balancing utility with extreme off-road ability.

What truly set the SVT Raptor apart was that it was built to be driven hard, not just look tough. It could hit jumps, tear through deserts, and handle trail punishment without modification—a trait unheard of in stock pickup trucks at the time. The P415 Raptor became a legend among enthusiasts and laid the foundation for the entire Raptor lineage, influencing everything from Baja race trucks to modern factory off-roaders. It wasn’t just a pickup—it was a desert predator, a blend of brute force, engineering excellence, and American off-road culture, making it one of the most iconic trucks Ford has ever built.

Hi Mr. Rod, To coincide with the release of the chassis display images, I have completed another of your models. All parts came out of the printer perfectly, I haven't changed any settings. I did not attach the type designation. Maybe I should print these with a 0.2 nozzle sometime. I actually wanted to print the SVJ for the GT-RC 4S, but then you got in the way with the Raptor. For the SVJ, I first had to order the right color, which will arrive next week. So, about the Raptor - I think it's great. As I said, no problems with printing or assembly. Now I also slowly need the chassis display so that the models don't have to stand around crookedly. Thank you very much for your work - keep it up!

hello. I'm printing my third car model from you and there's never been a problem and everything went smoothly. Has what happened to me in the photos happened to anyone? If it's my fault, I apologize. Thank you for the answer.

Hey Mate, this parts by design are quite unstable and thin so that problem is on me, let me see if I can fix it, tomorrow I´ll try to update it with different design to avoid this problems or change the print parameters.

Another model finished. Body printed in white and sprayed with green paint for the brake calipers I had lying around at home 😁 Pattern colored with black acrylic marker. There is still work to be done on the others and I need to print more chassis for the rest of the cars and I am still waiting for parts from bambulab for the GT RC 4S 😊

Sleeper build ahh Ford. Kida like the older Ford trucks where they stuck a Turbo into the trucks or a Massive engine into the Ford trucks back in the day because they are so light weight lol… I’m not old
