For eye highlights, insert white filament and then cut.

April 13, 2026 Update:

Added a scaled-down version that is 15cm tall. Mario's height is set at 147cm, so it's roughly a 1:10 scale. Personally, I feel the smaller one is cuter

Introduction:

The Super Mario Bros Movie is out, so I'm riding the hype to make an articulated figure. Two height options are available: 20cm and 15cm, with fully articulated joints. It has color-separated parts, no AMS is needed, and assembly requires glue. Assembly is simple, and I was lazy and didn't make instructions. If there's a need, you can leave me a message, and I'll add them

If many people download and print this, I will make characters like Luigi and Peach later. If not many, I might not continue this series

FAQ:

spaghetti?

If you get spaghetti, first check these things: clean the build plate, increase bed temperature by 5-10°, and apply glue as needed. The model has many details, and for color printing, it's split into many parts. Some parts are small, which will inevitably increase printing difficulty. All models have been print-tested, so please don't give a low rating just because of spaghetti

Loose connection?

There may be some differences between different filaments and depending on printer calibration. For loose connections, you can apply a layer of glue to the joint. Let it dry completely before reassembling. This can provide additional friction for a tighter fit

Assembly?

Apply vertical force and support the object as much as possible. Some joints might be a bit tight after assembly; do not force them, let them sit overnight, then carefully rotate them

Filament?

Try to use PLA Basic or PETG. Avoid using filaments with insufficient layer adhesion such as PLA Matte or PLA Silk, as they will break!

I have also made other things, if interested, you can check my homepage
