Introducing Flip-Safe, the 3D-printable smartphone mount designed for motorcycles, scooters, e-bikes, and bicycles.

Forget unreliable spring-loaded mounts: Flip-Safe’s innovative mechanical architecture is built around a physical lever system.

 Simply flip the lever down to engage the mechanical lock, keeping your device securely in place even through heavy vibrations, deep potholes, and accidental rollovers.

Whether you are commuting to work or riding on bumpy roads, Flip-Safe delivers the professional-grade security your device deserves.
 

Key Features

Quick "Flip-to-Lock" Mechanism

  • No complex mechanisms. Just lift the lever, insert your phone, and push it down to lock it. It's a fast, intuitive, and foolproof system.

Extreme Protection (Distraction-Free)

  • To maximize structural strength, the shell firmly encloses the device. The front cutouts allow you to glance at the screen (e.g., to see incoming calls), but to actively use the smartphone, you must take it out. Flip-Safe prioritizes absolute protection over accessibility.

Charging-Ready Design

  • The base features a wide rectangular opening designed to leave the phone's charging port fully accessible, allowing you to plug in your cable and charge your device on the go.

Adaptable Design

  • Engineered to accommodate a wide range of smartphones, even with protective cases. The 3D model is available in three different sizes (Small, Medium, Large) so you can choose the perfect fit for your phone.

Multi-Vehicle Mounting

  • Perfect for bolting directly onto scooter fairings/plastics. It also easily adapts to tubular handlebars (motorcycles, bikes, electric scooters) by pairing it with common, commercially available bar clamps.

 

 

3D Printing Guide

Recommended Material

  • We highly recommend PETG, ABS, or ASA to ensure heat and UV resistance (avoid PLA, as it will warp under the summer sun). The downloadable print profiles are optimized for PETG, an excellent material that can also be printed on open-enclosure machines.

Infill

  • Set the infill to 40% or higher to ensure maximum structural integrity and strength.

Supports & Orientation

  • Not strictly necessary, but recommended if you want flawless aesthetics and perfect details.

Important Note: To enable printing without supports (or with minimal support usage), the model is oriented vertically in the provided print profiles. A wide brim has been added to maximize bed adhesion and prevent the piece from tipping over. Please ensure that your printer's build volume is compatible with the model’s dimensions, specifically the Z-axis height, given the vertical orientation.

 

 

Installation

Assembly requires only two screws (M4 hex head bolts with nylon locknuts are highly recommended). While it is technically possible to use self-tapping screws, we strongly advise against it: vibrations will cause them to loosen over time. No further adjustments are needed once assembled.

For Scooters

  • Mount the holder directly to the plastic fairing by drilling two holes and bolting it securely.

For Motorcycles & Bikes

  • Use a tubular bar clamp (not included) that matches the hole spacing on the back of the Flip-Safe mount.

Once mounted, engage the flip-lock lever and ride with peace of mind!

 

 

Safety Disclaimer

Always perform a dry test (while the vehicle is stationary) before your first ride. Although Flip-Safe is designed for extreme security, its actual mechanical strength and durability depend entirely on the print quality and the material used. Additionally, make sure to periodically check the tightness of the screws.
