Description
This is a premium 1/10 or 1/8 scale wheel and tire set, specifically designed for RC enthusiasts seeking the perfect balance of aesthetics and durability
The design has been optimized to get the most out of modern materials:
- Rims: Designed for the new PETG HF, ensuring a rigid, impact-resistant structure with an incredibly smooth surface finish
- Tires: Aggressive tread geometry optimized for TPU 95A, offering excellent grip and realistic flexibility
Print Settings (Tested)
1. Rims (PETG HF)
Using PETG HF allows for higher speeds with better layer adhesion
- Layer Height: 0.12mm (for sharp details in the openings)
- Walls: 4 to 6 (essential to withstand motor torque)
- Infill: 40% (Gyroid) for maximum structural strength
- Supports: Yes (only "Tree Supports" touching the build plate, if needed)
2. Tires (TPU 95A)
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm
- Walls: 2 to 3 (depending on desired "softness")
- Infill: 10% to 15% (Gyroid or Cross Hatch) to simulate air pressure
- Speed: 30-40 mm/s (to ensure perfect tread texture)
Design Highlights
- Precise Fit: The tire is designed with a specific tolerance for the rim, preventing it from detaching during high-speed use
- Hyper Realistic Look: Turbine-style ventilation design that hides layer lines, appearing like an injection-molded part after printing
- True Scale: Compatible with most standard 1/10 chassis (12mm hex)
Assembly Instructions
- Clean any support residue from the rim's hex cavity
- The TPU tire should be carefully fitted onto the rim. If it's too tight, soaking the tire in hot water for 30 seconds will ease assembly
- (Optional) Use a drop of CA glue (cyanoacrylate) specific for RC tires if the motor is high-rotation (Brushless), to prevent the tire from detaching from the rim
