This model is a parametric decorative name sign combining a large serif-style initial with a script name placed on top.

It’s designed to be simple, clean, and easy to print while still looking elegant. Works well for nursery decor, kids’ rooms, personalized gifts, birthdays, or custom home decoration.

This is a fully parametric version, meaning you can generate any name instantly without needing external tools.

🔤 Font note

The parametric version supports a wide range of fonts directly inside Parametric Model Maker.

For best results, use connected cursive fonts for the name (like Pacifico, Lobster, Satisfy, etc.), as they produce a smooth, continuous look.

The initial uses a serif-style font for contrast and readability.

🔠 Name behavior

The name is automatically converted to lowercase by default to ensure a clean script appearance.

If needed, you can enable capitalization via parameters.

The big initial is automatically generated from the first letter of the name.

⚙️ Parameters explained

Name style
name_text_raw — The name to display. You can type it in any case; it will be converted automatically unless capitalization is enabled.
name_size — Size of the name in mm. Increase for a larger script relative to the initial.
nameFont — Cursive font for the name (selectable in UI).
name_offset_x — Move name left/right for positioning.
name_offset_y — Move name up/down for positioning.
name_rotate_z — Slight rotation if needed.
name_thickness — Thickness of the name piece.

Initial style
capital_letter_size — Overall size of the big initial.
capital_letter_thickness — Thickness of the base letter.
flat_base — Enables a flat bottom for letters like C, G, O, S, etc.

Fit & assembly
clearance_xy — Fit tolerance between parts. Increase slightly if too tight.
name_front_gap — Controls how the name sits into the initial (negative = more embedded).
name_protrude_front — How much the name stands proud of the surface.
