Description

This is a more compact and cheaper version of my other trip wire alarm: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2524640-trip-wire-cap-gun-alarm-trp-8

The TRP-1 is a compact tripwire alarm system designed for outdoor safety. Using a singular cap from common cap guns, it produces a loud bang when triggered. Ideal for camping or securing outdoor areas, the TRP-1 alerts you instantly to potential intruders, providing peace of mind.

Non-printed part:

-2 rubber bands

-Cap gun cap

-Wire/string

Assembly:

  1. Insert the striker into the hole in the frame (you will have to bend it a bit to get it in).
  2. Move the striker up into the firing position so the holes line up then put the pin through.
  3. Insert a cap into the hole on the bottom of the frame.
  4. Place 2 rubber bands over the striker with each of them looped separate on the bottom of the frame inside the notches.
  5. Secure the trip wire onto a solid object using string or whatever you have. Make sure the protruding bumps are facing towards the object to prevent the rubber bands from getting caught.
  6. Connect a wire/string to the pin and run it tight between an area you want to secure.
