Description

Boost Me (for free)

If this model printed without destroying your sanity, throw it a boost. It helps spread the suffering to more makers and keeps the free designs coming.

Overview

It’s smiling. That doesn’t help.

This is a 3D-printable figure from the Psychological Horror Series an original character built around the idea of a forced, artificial smile hiding something darker underneath.

Clean geometry, strong silhouette, and simplified details keep it printable while still delivering that uncomfortable “this isn’t right” feeling.

It looks friendly… until you stare at it too long.

Character Concept

The Painted Smile represents:

  • Forced happiness
  • Masked identity
  • The disconnect between appearance and reality

Design elements include:

  • Rounded, almost cheerful proportions
  • A fixed, exaggerated smile
  • Subtle distortion in facial balance
  • Neutral stance that feels just slightly off

It’s not aggressive it’s wrong in a quieter way.

  • Psychological horror collections
  • Minimalist horror setups
  • Desk or shelf display
  • Conversation pieces
  • Low-light or shadow display setups

This one gets more uncomfortable the longer you look at it.

  • Designed with minimal support requirements
  • Fine details may include facial features, hands, and edges
  • Face is the focal point remove supports carefully
  • Avoid scratching or flattening facial detail during cleanup
  • Do not rush removal around thin areas

If you damage the face, the whole effect is gone.

Scaling & Strength

  • Larger prints enhance expression and presence
  • Smaller prints increase fragility in hands and facial edges
  • Best printed slightly larger for visual impact

This one work best when you can clearly see the expression.
