Description

PLEASE DO A DRY FIT BEFORE GLUING TOGETHER SO YOU CAN GET A GOOD IDEA ON WHAT ORDER TO ASSEMBLE THIS IN.

A simplified print out for the M41A pulse rifle. This one of many M41A models I have worked on over the past 3 years and is personally my favourite for how easy it all goes together.

Very minimal support required. A second print profile is also provided for users that want a faster printout with less material usage.

No moving parts.

Everything is seperated by colour.

Ironing settings are turned on, these are what worked best for my P1S printer. PLEASE Adjust if you have issues.

It is recommended to paint the Ammo counter by hand to your preference using an acrylic pen.

The model is designed to work with real M3 socket heads but a print out for these is also provided if you would rather not source them from third parties. These are not crucial to the assembly and are purely a visual add on.

If you would like to use real M3 sockes you will need…

12x M3 8mm Socket.

10x M3 5mm Socket/Hex (preferably round head).

Please use the images below for assembly guidance.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Great print, nearly goes together solidly. Lots of thought put into connectors. My ONLY issue is that there should be some indication of what goes into what in which order. More than once, when I went to glue something, I ended up having to really figure out what order the pieces were going to have to go together in. It would've been easy for me to glue sub assemblies and then realize that I should have glued it into a different piece first. Overall though, thank you, excellent model.

Another build completed with some air brushing and dry brushing in areas for weathering. Printed with 8 walls to give it some realistic weight. Around 2.4kg of filament all together.

No worries, your STLs for the M41A are very easy & quick to print vs some of the others I have tried. My only gripe with your version was that the holes in the barrel holder were solid instead of hollow. I redesigned your STL for this part with the holes hollowed out to give the Pulse rifle a more realistic look. I have attached a pic so you can see the difference it makes to the overall model. I can send the modified STL to you if you want? Regards...Paul

I agree, I do have another version of this model which I added to quite a bit recently and I also completely cut out these holes. Did look a lot better visually. I think when I first designed this, my thought process was to keep it as supportless as possible so in my head keeping the holes solid was the better option but turns it doesn't actually require much support to do this. I may upload this soon, even added an adjustable stock afterwards. Have made like 5 different pulse rifle models over the last few years.
