Description
No more messy cables! This minimalist mounting clip was specially designed to neatly and securely route flat LAN (Ethernet) cables along wooden strips, door frames, or walls. The design is extremely compact and unobtrusive, but provides maximum hold through screwing.
I designed this model in Tinkercad to route my own home network without a trace along door frames – it fits perfectly!
Technical Details & Assembly
- Dimensions: 5×20×8 mm
- Hardware: Optimized for M3x12 Torx screws (other M3 screws also work).
- Application: Simply insert the flat cable and screw the clip down. Holds rock solid on wood and plaster (with dowels).
Print Settings
- Material: PLA or PETG (PETG is slightly more flexible when inserting the cable).
- Supports: None needed.
- Wall Loops: 2 or 3 (for a stable screw connection).
- Tip: If you need multiple clips, just use the "Clone" function in Bambu Studio to efficiently fill the build plate.
