Description

Bring your own launch site to life! 🚀💨

Now standing on my desk is a fully assembled Artemis II rocket humidifier, glowing with LED light and surrounded by realistic “launch smoke” from a USB-powered mist maker. It really feels like the rocket is preparing for liftoff every time I turn it on!

This model was designed in Fusion 360 and printed on a Bambu P1S. All parts are optimized for support-free printing, and you don’t need AMS — each color can be printed separately and assembled later.

🔧 Features:
🚀 Artemis II inspired rocket with full launch platform
💡 LED lighting for realistic engine glow
💨 встроенный USB humidifier (mist effect = launch smoke!)
🧩 Snap-fit platform + glued assembly
🎨 Hand-painted details (markers used for stripes and accents)
🖨️ No supports required
🎯 AMS not required

📦 Files included:
Full project in .3MF (with prepared plates)
Separate .STL files by color for easy printing

💡 Small DIY trick

For the hinge mechanism, I used a piece of PLA filament instead of a metal rod — simple and works perfectly!

🎨 Question for the community:

What do you use to add small color details to your prints without going full primer + acrylic paint?
Markers? Paint pens? Something else? 🤔

📸 Show your results!

I’d love to see your builds!
Please share photos of your finished rocket — it’s always awesome to see different versions and color ideas 🔥
