Description
Welcome to the definitive and revised version of the Mandalorian helmet. This model has been carefully analyzed to offer maximum solidity and an excellent surface finish, ideal for those who want the true "Beskar" look without compromise.
✨ The Secret to the Beskar Effect (Finishing Process)
To achieve the result you see in the photos (inspired by the original link), we followed a rigorous artisanal process:
- Sanding: The helmet was hand-sanded from 200 to 1000 grit to eliminate all traces of print lines.
- Glossy Base: Application of a glossy black base (Glossy Black) to add depth.
- Graphite Powder: As in the original method, we manually applied graphite powder by rubbing it onto the surface. This process gives that dark and authentic metallic reflection typical of imperial Beskar.
🚀 Printing Tips (Bambu Lab A1)
- Adhesion: Clean the build plate thoroughly with hot water and dish soap (or alcohol) before starting, given the print duration.
- Material: Gray or Black PLA (black helps if you intend to use graphite later).
