Replacement Anti-Noise Rubber for CRUZ Roof Racks

Replacement profile designed to fit into the upper rail (T-track) of CRUZ brand car roof racks. This part is intended to replace or complement the original rubber strip that covers the aluminum guide.

The problem it solves It is a very common failure that, due to sun exposure and temperature changes, the original rubber of these roof racks tends to shrink over time. This leaves uncovered gaps in the rail which, when driving at medium or high speeds, generate an annoying whistling sound and aerodynamic noise due to wind friction.

With this model, you can print the exact missing centimeters to fill the gaps caused by shrinkage, restoring aerodynamics to your vehicle and quickly and easily eliminating cabin noise.

Length adjustment (Very important!) The base file can be easily adapted to your needs. You just need to measure the free gap left in your roof rack's rail and scale the model on the Z-axis (unchecking uniform scale) within your slicer until it reaches the exact length in millimeters you need to print.

Recommended printing parameters:

• Material: Tested and printed in PLA with perfect functionality. (Optionally, PETG or ASA can be used if you live in areas with extremely hot summers and are looking for greater UV resistance, but PLA performs the function without issue).
• Infill: The part does not need to be solid. A standard infill (15% - 20%) is sufficient to maintain the structure.
• Supports: Not necessary.
