Description
🎨 Design & Dimensions:
• Triangular shower shelf with 17 cm side length (also suitable for the A1 mini)
• Height 3 cm
• The hexagonal grid design gives the model a modern, light appearance.
• Well suited for 2.5 cm wide adhesive tape (this way the bond disappears invisibly behind the shelf)
• Recommended: 3M Double-Sided Adhesive Tape Extra Strong, Waterproof and for Car, Home and Office (2.5cm x 4.7m)
• For bathroom use, PETG is recommended instead of PLA.
• In the print profile, pauses are inserted at layer 26 and layer 124 to allow for filament changes.
Maximum Load: For permanent use, a maximum load of 5 kg is recommended.
🛠️ Installation:
Do not touch the adhesive surfaces after printing - this keeps them free of contaminants that would significantly impair the adhesive strength.
Clean and dry both the mounting surfaces on the model and the wall surface where the shelf is to be attached. For optimal results, use isopropanol or a similar cleaner.
Cut the double-sided adhesive tape to the required size (recommended size: 14 x 2.5 cm pieces).
Firmly apply the adhesive tape to the prepared areas on the model. Press it firmly for several seconds multiple times to ensure good adhesion.
Carefully remove the outer protective film from the adhesive tape.
Carefully attach the shelf to the desired spot on the wall. Press both the shelf and the wall firmly for about 5 seconds each time to ensure a strong connection.
Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours without load. Ideally, avoid water contact (e.g., showering) for at least 12 hours after installation, so the adhesive can cure undisturbed.
If the shelf feels firm after 24 hours, even with light touching, the installation is successful. If it moves, press it firmly again and wait longer or, if necessary, start over.
- The adhesive reaches approximately 90–95% of its strength after 36–48 hours. After that, the shelf is fully functional.
