This is a replacement shell for the Samsung Smart Remote, designed to solve a simple but annoying problem: the original sleek aluminum body looks great, but can feel very cold and unpleasant in the hand, especially during winter.
This design is a precise replica of the original remote shell, maintaining all functionality, including the battery door, opening mechanism, and locking system. After several prototypes, the fit and mechanism have been refined to work just like the original.
Printed in PLA, the remote becomes much more comfortable to hold, with a warmer, softer feel compared to metal. If printed in glow-in-the-dark PLA, it also becomes easy to find in low light or at night.
Printing at 0.16 mm layer height gives the best finish and feel in hand.
