Avalon 2: Legends of King Arthur (The Resistance: Avalon 2: Legends of King Arthur) is the official sequel to the classic social deduction board game Avalon. The core still involvesfaction confrontation + mission execution + social deduction, but it greatly simplifies the process, speeds up the pace, and adds new mechanics and characters, making it more suitable for beginners and fast-paced gatherings.

Differences between Avalon 2 and Avalon:
- Avalon is a 5-10 player game; Avalon 2 is a 4-10 player game, and introduces an amulet mechanism for specific player counts
- Most characters in Avalon are commoners with no special abilities; Avalon 2 allows you to choose not to include commoner roles from Avalon, using only characters with abilities in the game
- Avalon has fixed roles determined by the number of players; Avalon 2 introduces multiple new character abilities and new scenario variant rules, offering more roles that can be freely combined for higher replayability
- In Avalon, the leader selects mission participants, and the choice must be decided by vote; in Avalon 2, the leader directly designates mission participants
- Avalon leans more towards psychological warfare and logical deduction; Avalon 2 has more elements of luck and is more entertainment-oriented
- In Avalon, the evil side has a chance to counter-attack when the good side meets the victory conditions; in Avalon 2, both the good and evil sides have a chance to counter-attack
