Beehive Entrance Reducer - 8 & 10 frame w/ Plug

This print will allow you to quickly print a traditional entrance reducer for a Langstroth bee hive with 8 or 10 frames.  The 10 frame reducer prints in two parts and presses together without glue.  The dowel and dowel holes are precision printed for a tight fit.  The 8 frame prints in one piece.  Both print plates include the optional small hole plug to be used when moving the hive or if you have OA vaped and wish need to keep the hive closed, following instructions on the product.  Since it will be outside subject to heat and sunlight, I recommend using the appropriate filament material such as ASA, PETG, ABS or any other filament that is resistant to UV and high temperatures.  After printing this reducer, simply line up the pegs with the holes (in the correct orientation) and press the parts together with your hands.  If you wish you can tap them together with a plastic mallet or gently squeeze them in a vice with soft jaw covers.
