The Birdie Caddy is a purpose-built wall mounting system designed to store a golf bag securely and get it off the floor.
It uses a two-point support design. A fold-out lower bracket carries the weight of the bag, while a sliding upper hook drops into the top opening to stabilize and lock it in place. This keeps the bag upright, prevents tipping, and eliminates unnecessary movement.
The upper hook is vertically adjustable, allowing the system to accommodate a wide range of golf bags. Mount height can also be set based on your specific setup, making it adaptable for different bag sizes and garage layouts.
The design is straightforward, strong, and repeatable. No wasted parts, no unnecessary complexity. Just a clean mounting solution that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
I printed this in PLA and it's been working great. Would also work well to print in PETG, or ABS depending on your climate and location.
For the foldout base, I started from this file I found on printables, as a tough and secure way to mount in your garage, while being able to fold it back in to store when not needed so you're not banging your shins as you walk through the garage.
