Description

Simple remix of Made.In.Meidling's vertical bracket that allows for mounting his outstanding TPU feed assist module housing on the back of an H2D with a flipper.  I printed it in PETG HF and mounted it with two BT3x12 screws replacing  two of the BT3x8 screws for the buffer.  BT3x14 might work as well, though I haven't tried.  Mounts directly inline with the TPU port and still has clearance for the 6-pin outlet.  The module top sits slightly above the top of the printer and has plenty of clearance for the flipper.

fit nicely. any recommendation on PTFE tube length? looking to run a 3rd tube straight from the module but looking for a routing recommendations

Where you place it along the drag chain is a tradeoff. Too close to the buffer and it interferes with the "buffing." Closer to the extruder makes the head slightly heavier. Lots of lengths and opinions in the comments.

Yea that's where I get hung up, I usually leave things "as is" until I find that IT that checks all my boxes. Kind of leaning towards just running 3 tubes, but also looking at the 2 in 1 or 4 in 1 setups like what you shared, maybe with the new style 4 in 1 since I have one laying around https://makerworld.com/en/models/2401821-4-in-1-new-style-bambu-ptfe-adapter-holder?from=search#profileId-2632640

Thank you for this! Just downloaded as I really like the vertical design with mounting holes! :) Currently printing a few mods for my H2C so I needed this to not mount low, not use holes in the rear panel that I will need and needed something that didnt wrap around (as much as I like wrap arounds and they come in very handy). I needed something in close proximity to where I will mount 4-in-1 PTFE adapters. Want to try and setup multiple filaments to automatically feeding into this TPU assist module.. will see how this all turns out! :)
