Corrugator for Paper, Cardstock and Thin Metal

Compact manual corrugator / paper crimping tool consisting of two interlocking gears, a hand crank, and a supporting frame. Designed to form uniform corrugations on strips up to 20 mm in width.

Suitable for paper, cardstock, and thin metal foils. Originally developed for manufacturing ribbon microphone elements, but also applicable to a wide range of uses including decorative strips, scale models, nativity scenes, railway modeling, and so on.

The model is 3D printablewith some supports. They are recommended during printing, however, by slightly reducing axis precision/tolerances, it is possible to print without supports. Parts are designed for snap-fit assembly, requiring no additional hardware. If you do not want to change gears you may consider adding a few drops of CA glue.
