🧠 Behind the Design (For Makers & Moderators) 

To ensure maximum structural integrity and repeated pressing durability, this is not a standard flat STL, but a structurally advanced parametric tool generator. The underlying OpenSCAD algorithm dynamically calculates complex bounding geometry to automatically fit any three-line text combination while maintaining optimal border margins. Text elements are mathematically mirrored and extruded along the Z-axis to ensure flawless topographic contact when used with ink, wax, or clay. The two-part design features a computationally engineered threaded joint with customizable pitch and tolerances, allowing the handle to seamlessly screw into the base for superior mechanical strength. Finally, the entire geometry is mathematically optimized for flat FDM printing, allowing both the ergonomic handle and the base to print flawlessly without requiring any generated supports.

 

🖨️ Print Settings for Success:

  • Materials:
    • The Handle: Print in standard PLA, ABS/ASA or PETG for a strong grip.
    • The Stamp Base: You can print this in PLA, but for the absolute best stamping results with real ink, print the base in TPU (Flexible Filament) so it adapts to the paper!
  • Layer Height: 0.12mm or 0.16mm gives the best resolution for the text and makes the threaded joint super smooth.
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid.
  • Supports: Not really needed but it can help.
