Description

Edge Scribing Tool for Cabinet Filler Panels

This simple tool helps transfer the shape of an uneven wall onto a cabinet filler panel (also called a scribe or filler strip). It makes it easier to cut the panel so it fits tightly against the wall.

How it works

  1. Place the filler panel next to the wall where it will be installed.
  2. Put the scribing tool between the wall and the panel.
  3. Slide the tool along the wall.
  4. The pencil marks the exact shape of the wall onto the panel.
  5. Cut the panel along the marked line.

After cutting, the panel will fit perfectly against the wall with no gaps.

Use cases

  • kitchen cabinet fillers
  • wardrobe side panels
  • trim pieces next to uneven walls

This tool is especially useful when installing cabinets where walls are not perfectly straight.
