Description

This adapter allows larger inner-diameter spools (like Sunlu, Geeetech, Giantarm, and similar brands) to fit securely on the AMS Lite spool holder.

I've never uploaded previous versions, but this latest version introduces key improvements for better reliability and ease of use.

Print Settings (Recommended)

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Walls: 2
  • Infill: 15–20%
  • Material: PLA or PETG is OK
  • No supports needed

  • Anycubic
  • Other oversized spool hubs

(Scaling may be required for uncommon spool dimensions)

Notes

  • Designed for a tight friction fit
  • The added internal texture helps lock onto the AMS Lite rubber rollers and reduce slipping
  • If your printer is very dialed in, no post-processing should be needed

Tip

If your spool feels too tight:

  • Slightly scale to 99–99.5%
  • Or use PETG for better flex vs PLA

All photos shown are actual prints and in-use testing with AMS Lite. This design has undergone ~2500 hours of real-world testing across 3 A1 and 1 A1 Mini printers.
