Description
replica of the original Somfy motor bracket. If you have lost your original mount, need an extra one, or your current plastic bracket has failed, this model is designed to be a direct "drop-in" replacement.
Do NOT print this in PLA. Tubular motors generate heat during operation. PLA has a low glass transition temperature and will soften or deform, leading to potential failure.
- Best Choice: ABS or ASA (High heat resistance and durability).
- Solid Alternative: PETG (Tested and functional, but ABS is preferred).
Print Settings
To match (or exceed) the strength of the original injection-molded part:
- Wall Loops: 5 - 6 (Crucial for the structural integrity of the screw mounts).
- Infill: 40% - 60% (Gyroid recommended).
- Layer Height: 0.2mm for a good balance between strength and detail.
