Low-Profile Bird Deterrent Spikes (36mm)
Keep your window sills, ledges, and fences clear of pigeons and other birds without the industrial "prison-yard" look. These 3D-printable spikes are designed to be low-profile (3.6 cm tall), making them an effective yet subtle solution for residential use.
Features:
- Residential Friendly: At just 3.6 cm tall, they provide a strong deterrent while remaining visually unobtrusive compared to standard 10 cm+ spikes.
- Optimized Geometry: The spike density is specifically calculated to prevent even smaller birds from finding a landing spot.
- Modular Design: The strips are designed to be placed side-by-side or end-to-end. They fit perfectly on standard window sills with enough room to double up for wider ledges.
- Easy Installation: The flat base allows for easy mounting using outdoor double-sided mounting tape, silicone adhesive, or small screws.
Recommended Print Settings:
- Material: ASA or PETG is highly recommended for UV resistance and outdoor durability. (PLA will warp in direct sunlight).
- Wall Loops: 2 for extra spike strength.
- Infill: 5%
- Support: No supports required!
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
