We’ve all been there: tossing hours of painting and prep into a spare filament box, only to arrive at the session with tangled minis and snapped swords. I designed the Arcane Safeguard Box to put an end to the "cardboard box of chaos."

This is a heavy-duty, magnetic transport solution designed to keep your party and your monsters secure while traveling to your weekly game. It’s not a flight case, so I wouldn't suggest throwing it off a balcony, but it will keep your models perfectly upright and separated in a backpack or on a car seat.

✨ Features & Capacity

This is a substantial print (232mm x 242mm x 78mm) designed to maximise your build plate and your storage space:

• 10x Medium Slots: Fits bases up to 27.5mm in diameter.
• 6x Large Slots: Fits bases up to 55mm in diameter.
• Magnetic Security: Each slot features a press-fit hole for a 6x2mm magnet.
• Lid Security: A further 20 magnets ensure the lid snaps on tight and stays there during transit.

🧲 The Ecosystem

This box is the perfect companion to my Standardised TTRPG Bases. Since those bases use metal washers, they snap right into these magnetic slots, ensuring your minis don't budge even if the box is tilted.

🚀 Critical Print Advice

Because this model utilises almost the entire available printing area, first-layer adhesion is everything. To ensure a successful print and avoid the heartbreak of a corner lifting:

1. Clean Your Plate: Ensure your build plate is scrubbed clean of any oils.
2. Bed Adhesion: I highly recommend a smooth PEI plate or Supertac plate
3. Heat it Up: Consider dialling up your bed temperature by 5-10°C above your usual settings to help prevent warping.
4. Built-in "Ears": I have designed the magnet housing sections to act as "mouse ears" on the corners. This extra surface area helps anchor the print to the bed and significantly reduces the chances of warping.

• 36x Total Magnets (6x2mm): 
  • 16 for the miniature slots.
  • 20 for the lid/base closure.
