Description

A custom-designed desktop stand and cable management base for the CUKTECH 30 Ultra power bank. Refined through multiple iterations, it perfectly balances passive cooling, desktop cable routing, and the need for frequent plugging and unplugging.

💡 Core Features

  • Open-Top Drop-in Design: The top is completely open. The device slides smoothly in and out along tilted rails without any physical interference.
  • Maximized Cooling Cutouts: Large capsule-shaped cutouts on the sides and back, combined with a flow-through bottom air channel, ensure excellent heat dissipation during high-load charging and discharging.
  • High-Precision Magnetic Split-Body: Consists of an upper cradle base and a lower cable-hiding "garage". The four corners use a magnetic/snap-fit connection, with alignment pegs featuring a pre-calculated 2.75mm tolerance for a seamless fit.
  • Side Quick-Release Cable Clip: Features a magnetic cable clip on the right side that can be easily detached. It holds up to 4 cables simultaneously (5.6mm slot diameter, fitting most standard braided and silicone cables).

🔩 Hardware Requirements

  • Round Magnets: 6.0mm (Diameter) x 2.5mm (Thickness).
  • Quantity: * 8 pcs for the four corners of the top/bottom bases (Optional, as the body also features a friction snap-fit).
    • 2 pcs for the side cable clip and its corresponding base hole (Required, otherwise the clip won't stay in place).
    • Tip: Secure the magnets with a small drop of super glue during assembly.

🖨️ Print & Slicing Recommendations

The model contains overhangs and needs to support a heavy device. Please refer to the following settings to ensure print quality and structural strength:

  • Recommended Filament: PETG is highly recommended (heat resistant, good toughness, ideal for snap-fits and quick release). PLA works as well.
  • Strength Settings: * Wall loops: 3 to 4
    • Sparse infill density: 20% - 25%
    • Sparse infill pattern: Gyroid
  • Support Settings: Supports are REQUIRED.
    • Type: Tree (auto) * Style: Tree Slim * Threshold angle: 35°
  • Surface Quality: Set Seam position to Back. This hides the layer change seams on the less visible rear side of the model.
  • Bed Adhesion: The parts have a large footprint. It is highly recommended to thoroughly clean your textured PEI plate before printing. A Brim is usually not needed.
    • ⚠️ Important Note: If printing with PETG, please wait for the heated bed to cool down completely to room temperature before removing the parts to avoid damaging your build plate.
