Description

This is to convert the 4 pin plug on Icom radios to Anderson Power Pole 30A.  This also has been tested on an IC-7610 and works.  The IC-9700 has the same power connection but I have not tested it.  You can do as I did and cut the connector out or if you are cut shy, you can take a short chunk of the power cord and place it inside the radio. Purely my opinion but I would cut that connector out, your thumb will thank you.

The screws are M2x8mm for the backing plate.

The locking pin on the power pole is supposed to be 1/8".  I have an M3 which is smaller but still splits the connections; a 1/8 bit to hone out that hole is advisable.
