Most regular clothes hangers bend or snap under the weight of a loaded everyday carry bag, and thin hooks can permanently compress the foam in your shoulder straps. This model features a dual-hook top to prevent swinging and a wide, slanted base cradle to spread the load, protecting your bag's straps while freeing up floor space.
The geometry is specifically modeled for 3D printing to maximize strength along the stress axes when printed flat on the build plate. You will not have to worry about layer separation or hearing that dreaded cracking sound when you load it up with a heavy laptop bag or camera gear. It easily slips over standard wooden or metal wardrobe poles and handles thick straps with ease.
Recommended Print Settings
- Orientation: Print laying flat on its side for maximum Z-axis strength on the hooks
- Material: PETG or PLA+ for better impact resistance and flexibility (PLA also works)
- Wall Loops (Perimeters): 3 to 5 walls (strength comes from walls, not just infill)
- Infill: 15% to 30% Gyroid or Cubic
- Layer Height: 0.20mm
Supports: Standard tree supports for the overhanging hook gap if your bridging needs help
