🛠️ What You Can Customize
You have total creative control over the following parameters:
- Custom Text: Enter any name or word.
- Font Selection: Choose from 10 popular Google Fonts, including:
- Modern/Clean: Roboto Black, Ubuntu Bold.
- Playful: Luckiest Guy, Chewy, DynaPuff.
- Script/Elegant: Pacifico, Leckerli One.
- Bold/Impact: Anton, Bangers, Bungee.
- Base Style:
- Outline: The base follows the specific curves of your letters.
- Rounded Box: A smooth, solid base behind the text.
- Sizing & Spacing: Adjust the Text Size (vertical height) and Letter Spacing to make your text tight or airy.
- Keyring Placement: Use the X and Y Offset sliders to move the keyring hole to the perfect spot, and adjust the Hole Size to fit your specific keyring hardware.
- Thickness: Control the Total Height of the keychain for a slim profile or a chunky, heavy-duty feel.
🎨 Color & Printing Tips
The model is split into two distinct heights, making it perfect for high-contrast designs:
- The Base: Provides the structural foundation and keyring loop.
- The Text: Raised lettering for a crisp, 3D effect.
How to print in multi-color:
- With AMS: The different heights make it easy to assign colors in Bambu Studio.
- Manual Swap: No AMS? No problem! Simply add a Pause at the layer where the text begins to manually swap your filament.
- Customization: Feel free to mix and match any colors to fit your style!
📏 Recommended Settings
- Expansion: 1.8mm (provides a nice "halo" around the letters).
- Hole Border: 2mm (ensures the loop is strong enough not to snap).
- Infill: 15–20% (Grid or Gyroid).
- Supports: None required!
- Material: PLA works great, but PETG is recommended for extra durability on car keys.
