Princess Mononoke is an epic fantasy story about the clash between nature and human progress. It follows Ashitaka, a young prince who becomes cursed while defending his village from a demonized boar god. Seeking a cure, he journeys west and finds himself caught in a growing conflict between Iron Town, led by the determined Lady Eboshi, and the gods and spirits of the forest.

There he meets San, a fierce human girl raised by wolves, who fights to protect the forest and despises humans for destroying it. Ashitaka forms a bond with her while trying to mediate between both sides, believing that neither is purely good or evil.

As the struggle escalates, humans hunt the powerful Forest Spirit, whose death could grant great power but threatens to destroy the natural world entirely. The conflict spirals into chaos, forcing Ashitaka to confront the consequences of hatred, greed, and imbalance. In the end, the film does not offer a simple resolution. Instead, it emphasizes coexistence, understanding, and the fragile balance between humanity and nature.
