The project is still under development, and I’m happy to receive feature requests. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out.

CreateYourMap.com – Custom 3D Printed Maps from Real Locations

Turn any place in the world into a beautifully detailed 3D printed map. Simply search for a location, choose your shape and scale, and export a ready-to-print STL or 3MF file — complete with terrain, buildings, roads, water, and green areas derived from real OpenStreetMap data.

This is still an ongoing project with a lot of time and passion already invested — and more improvements on the way. If you spot anything that could be better or have ideas for new features, I'd genuinely love to hear from you. Feedback are always welcome! 🗺️

How to use:

  1. Visit https://createyourmap.com/editor
  2. Search for any location in the world
  3. Choose your model shape (rectangle, circle, octagon or heart)
  4. Select a scale and print size
  5. Download the STL or 3MF file
  6. Slice and print — no supports needed!

You’re also welcome to support my work with a boost!

If you're looking for a wall art version instead, you can also export your map as a PDF poster — ready to print and frame. 🖼️

This is amazing. The buildings I selected didn't turn out tall enough though. How do I fix that?

Which location did you choose? The scaling happens automatically, but I could add the option to manually scale the height of the buildings.

Trying to get some done from old photos of nazi death camps, pearl harbor and other ww2 history sites but have been having issues, any advice on using this software to get it done? Using pictures from that era, not modern ones.
