Print Profile(1)

Description
Hello everyone
this oversized egg doesn't just look beautiful
It can be opened by pressing it together and thus filled with a big surprise
At Easter, it brings a sparkle to children's eyes. In everyday life, with a more subtle color scheme, it's a real eye-catcher and can be used, among other things, as storage for sweets or as gift packaging for egg lovers
Construction:
The seam is set to random, which makes it particularly invisible on the outer wall due to the textured surface. During development, I placed particular emphasis on beautiful surfaces, so the eggs look good both inside and underneath. For the Giant Egg, there is a tighter or looser fit depending on the application. The snap closure works very well! The speed can still be significantly optimized, but I haven't gotten around to it yet ;)
Too big? No problem, the little brother Big Egg is still large, but can be printed faster and is easier to open and close, especially for smaller children
The eggs are very material-efficient as they consist almost entirely of only two wall layers (0.8mm)
Function:
The eggs are simply pressed together to open and close
Egg data (Giant Egg):
- Bottom part with two different fits
- tight: firm fit - good to carry and suitable as gift packaging
- loose: lighter fit - for stationary applications, e.g. as a candy dish
- Outer dimensions (H x D): 24.4x 17.5 cm
- Inner dimensions (H x D): 22.8x 16.8 cm
- Wall thickness 0.8 mm
- Weight: 128 g
- Default print time for the best result (In non-critical areas, the speed can be set to crazy. This can save considerable time
- Top part 4h 21min
- Bottom part 3h 13min
Egg data (Big Egg):
- Wall thickness 0.8 mm
- Weight: 38 g
- Default print time for the best result. In non-critical areas, the speed can be set to crazy. This can save considerable time
- Top part 1h 27min
- Bottom part 1h 4min
Notes:
- Scaling will not work well because the eggs are designed for 2 wall layers and the minimum wall thickness is one layer (0.5 mm)
- The print settings are for the best results. A faster print would be possible, but without guarantee of good appearance and function ;)
- Bridges are used for the top part, as these are material-dependent, I have added a test part. I have successfully tested my settings with PETG and PETG+
- The Giant Egg in particular should not be thrown or dropped to avoid damage
Boost Me (for free)
For development and optimal print settings, I use a lot of material. I look forward to every boost that supports my work for future models :)
Happy printing
