Description of the image of the Virgin on the processional float
The scene shows a small image of the Virgin, delicately integrated into the golden ornamentation of a Holy Week float. The figure is depicted with a serene and sweet face, wearing a radiant halo that highlights her sacred character. In one hand, she holds a flower, a symbol of purity and tenderness, while her posture conveys closeness and protection.
The image is framed by a profuse Baroque decoration, full of scrollwork, volutes, and floral motifs carved and gilded with great mastery. Around it, angelic faces are also visible, reinforcing the sense of glory and solemnity. The entire ensemble forms part of the front of a processional float, where light and gold combine to create a visual effect of great richness and devotion.
