I never found a fork holder that worked exactly the way I wanted. So I decided to design my own.

This heavy-duty motorcycle fork vise clamp is designed to securely hold front forks during maintenance, oil changes, seal replacement, and complete suspension rebuilds without damaging the fork tube surface.

The design allows the fork to be clamped safely outside the vise while maintaining a secure grip. The fork can be positioned vertically, horizontally, or at any angle that best suits your work.

Features

  • Suitable for both road and off-road motorcycle forks
  • Secure grip without damaging fork tubes
  • Allows vertical, horizontal, or angled positioning
  • Strong reinforced design for workshop use
  • Designed specifically for 3D printing
  • Easy assembly with standard hardware

Hardware Required

  • M6x60 socket head bolts
  • M6 nuts

Printing Recommendations

For maximum strength:

  • Material: PETG, ABS, ASA, or Nylon
  • Do NOT use PLA
  • 9–12 walls/perimeters
  • Top and bottom thickness: 2–4 mm
  • Handle: 100% infill recommended

The clamp is designed to withstand the forces typically encountered during motorcycle fork maintenance when printed according to these recommendations.

Applications

Perfect for:

  • Fork oil changes
  • Fork seal replacement
  • Suspension rebuilds
  • Bushing replacement
  • General motorcycle fork servicing

If you need a custom diameter or a modified version, feel free to contact me. I am always happy to improve the design and help fellow riders and mechanics.

Happy printing and safe wrenching!
