Description

Parametric Inner Pot Generator

A fully parametric plant pot designed in OpenSCAD. The pot features a tapered body with a rim, configurable drainage holes in two concentric rings, and a raised base with up to three foot rings connected by a cross structure.

The model comes as two separate files:

  • parametric_inner_pot.scad — The main pot body with rim, dual drain hole rings (inner + outer), center hole, and a triple-ring foot system (outer wall extension, middle ring, inner ring). All dimensions, wall thickness, hole counts, and foot parameters are fully adjustable through the OpenSCAD customizer. The pot can be printed as-is with the foot structure attached, but this will require support material for the raised base area.
  • parametric_foot_insert.scad — A standalone foot piece that can be printed flat without any support material, then inserted into the pot afterward. It consists of the same three concentric foot rings connected by a cross/plus connector. Small drainage notches are cut into the rings and cross arms so water can flow freely between zones. The foot insert uses the same configuration parameters as the main pot, so they always match up.

Both files share the same base parameters (pot diameter, wall thickness, drain positions, foot height, etc.), making it easy to keep everything consistent when tweaking the design.
