HD Steel Shelf Accessory Holders
Print Profile(4)

Description
Well kids we are back at it. Down the worm hole we go. I'm to work through similar applications for my second shelf type that I'm sure some of you also have. Got a few different applications going already, but If it doesn't fit let me know this one is pretty easy to scale for different sizes.

- Material
- These are all designed around PETG (I used PETG-HF). I don't recommend PLA for functional parts like these that bare a constant load as they are subject to creep (they will deform over time with constant load) in this condition.
- Shelf this is designed around
- Gorilla 4-Shelf HD Industrial Rack from Costco
- This is the notch pattern it is designed around, as best I can measure it. Pitch is about 68mm.
- I think it will also work on this rack but haven't tested it.
- There may be some other racks it works with, just not sure.

- Support brackets

- I designed these around the idea of supporting longer objects. You could use them support a shipping tube with a cap on it for things like welding rod or make a small trash can out of it. You can also just support smaller things that are top heavy. I'm using one to support a propane torch that is kinda long just to protect it. Let me know what other ideas you come up with.

- Assembly
- No tools required here. Start by hanging the Left (L) and Right (R) dovetail hangers in the rack.
- Take your holder and align the groves on the bottom to the top of the dovetail hangers.
- Once aligned push it all the way down till it clicks in. It should have a mm or 2 of wiggle to move up and down but shouldn't come off easy.
- No tools required here. Start by hanging the Left (L) and Right (R) dovetail hangers in the rack.
- Disassembly
- Tip the holder forward a little bit, basically just enough for the nubs on the back to clear and start to pull up and off. It might take the dovetail hangers with it, but it's not the end of the world.
