Description
Designed for the Pololu Micro Maestro 6-Channel USB Servo Controller, this compact holder gives the board a clean, secure, and practical mounting solution for robotics and custom electronics projects. I created it for my R2D2 build, where space is limited and every component needs to be mounted in a simple, reliable, and serviceable way.
The design keeps the Micro Maestro 6CH firmly in place while staying lightweight and easy to install. It supports the board without covering everything in a bulky enclosure, which means you still keep good access to the connectors and the board itself during wiring, setup, and maintenance.
For assembly, I used:
- 4x heat-set threaded inserts M2, OD 3.5 mm, H 4 mm
- 4x M2 x 4 mm screws
The support can simply be glued onto any flat surface, making installation quick and clean inside a droid or robotics project. If maintenance is needed, the controller can be removed just by unscrewing the board, so there is no need to tear out the whole mount once it is fixed in place.
This holder is a good fit for builders who want a minimalist and efficient mount for the Pololu Micro Maestro 6-channel in a droid, robot, animatronic, RC, or custom electronics project. It is especially useful when you need a mounting part that is small, functional, and easy to integrate into tight spaces.
I designed it from real use inside my R2D2, with the goal of getting a tidy internal layout, solid retention, and quick installation without wasting material.
