Articulated Seaking

This articulated Seaking has flexible scale units (like my other articulated fish/pokemon models) that allow it to "swim". The model body is split in half with a few additional separate parts. The fins are separate so they can be oriented on the plate to maximize strength (and cut down on additional purge waste on each overlapping layers) and the horn is separate to maintain high print quality at the tip. I've provided two variations and in one of them the mouth is printed separately and glued in to further reduce purge. To assemble, start by adding a little bit of glue to the tab at the base of the fins and slide them into the slots under the eyes. Then, add some glue (green below) to the flat bottom of the head (including the Horn/Registration Pin slot), flat bottom of the tail, and flat bottoms of the top fins and bottom perimeter scale units:

Insert the Horn/Registration Pin in the slots on the flat side of the head, and push the two halves together. Tape is very helpful to hold the pieces (especially the top fin halves) together while the glue dries.
